Prague / Münsingen, 24.08.2026 – Reinsberg Group continues its growth with the acquisition of Swiss company Schaerer Medical Schweiz AG, a long-established manufacturer of premium mobile operating tables and specialized orthopedic accessories. The addition of Schaerer Medical Schweiz AG will strengthen the Group's operating table offering, bring further specialized expertise in orthopedics and spinal surgery, and, at the same time, establish a direct presence for the Reinsberg Group in the Swiss market.
Schaerer Medical Schweiz AG was founded in 1892 and is one of Switzerland's long-established medical technology manufacturers. The company has been developing and manufacturing operating tables since 1912 and has built strong technical expertise in this field for more than a century. It is headquartered in Münsingen close to Bern, where its in-house development and manufacturing operations are based. Today, the company is present in more than 75 countries through an international network of sales and service partners.
